It feels like it’s been at least eight weeks since I last posted. In that time, I started a new job. That just happens to be night shift, so I never seem to know what day it is. It has taken several weeks to get my sleep right. And even now, I feel a little off. I was sick with a cold all last week. And I feel that my crafting time has taken a hit.

I have managed to complete two small projects since I last posted. The pattern is Hallow Sampler by The Primitive Needle. The linen is by handmadenumber12. From memory, it was 46 count. I did change out a few of the called for colours. It was such a fun stitch.

My second project was a pair of Rose City Rollers knit with Area 51 fibres in The Pumpkin Spice Cafe colourway.
My next knitting project will be Christmas socks in the A Little Bit Grinchy colourway by Area 51 Fibres. I hope everyone is doing well. I will do my best to do the rounds of everyone’s blogs.

I forgot about Area 51 as a source for self striping socks. I’m sooo sad that Lollipop yarns stop selling her beautiful self striping yarns that seemed to sell out as fast as she could post them. Good luck with night shift. I hated working nights. We worked rotating shifts, which has been proven to be very bad for your health, so I’d work 7 days of nights every 28 days. Thankfully that was only for a year.

Thank you. There is also Vesper Yarns and Must Stash yarns. Area 51 is well priced.

What a cute sampler. I can not imagine doing a 46 count cloth! DId you go over 1 or 2 squares on it? RCR socks are the best to make. I like the colorway of your.

Thank you. It was over two. I’m pretty sure my eyes couldn’t cope with over one, lol.

I hope your new job is enjoyable and worth the disruption to your old routine. I am sure things will settle. In the meantime your sampler is lovely. I love its more subtle Halloween feel, almost like you could leave it out all year and it would take a 2nd glance to see all the lovely images as well as the letters. Cute socks too.
